How we started

Mimi’s Crop Circle, where creativity is queen, opened the first week of May 2009. The shop started small but has grown and moved into a larger space  in 2010. We are now located in the same shopping area as Lucky Donuts and La Costa.

As we were getting ready to open Mimi’s Crop Circle, our suppliers such as Notions, Bazzill, SEI, American Crafts, Dream Street, Rusty Pickle, and Paper Adventures made generous donations of product for prizes and give-aways. We had so much that we continued to hand it out for several weeks.

What we have to offer

We have tried to stock everything needed for scrapbooking. Our space is limited but we will always try to keep the basics along with as many of the new items the come out as space allows. Of course, if you need something special and we are able to get it from our suppliers, we will be happy to order for you.The majority of our paper is two sided which is something we like. We always feel we have a larger selection that way and know that both sides go together.

Our Classes

There is a cropping area in the shop where classes are held. The area is open for your use when classes are not scheduled. Currently we offer two classes a week and a 1:30 p.m. to midnight crop on Saturdays.

We have several cropping weekends scheduled. Two cropping weekends are scheduled for Fort Flagler and four others at our little beach house. We are able to take 14 scrappers to Fort Flagler but only 4 to the beach house each time. No matter if the group is big or small; we always have a great time.

MMMM…Gift Certificates. We have those available. We know that it is difficult to buy a gift for a scrapper and be sure that what you’ve picked out was wanted or needed. Now you can just pick up a gift certificate and the scrapper can then buy exactly what the want. Another problem solved.

We have already completed several custom projects for customers who either did not have time to do the work themselves or were afraid to tackle it. We are always happy to help, even if you only need the supplies and some suggestions.
